Our show attendances have been reasonably sucessful for several years, the Lincoln is always a crowd puller and our rams have made a big impression at many shows.

We have had a very successful Three Counties show this year.

Our rams and ewes achieved considerable success, including the female champion. Here they are at home, relaxing after their efforts.

We seem to have specialized in rams with heavy fleeces. These three each clipped out 45lbs of wool. We currently hold the record woth 48lbs of wool from Tardebigge Charlemagne.

We did it again at Heckington 2011. Our two shear Tardebiige Horatio clipped out 42.5lbs and won the heaviest fleece competition. Even more exciting one of our yearling ewes clipped out 35lbs of wool. This actually tied with some of the two shear rams! We were particularly pleased because the sheep had only a tiny amount of Australian blood in them, it is nice to see English blood getting back to its former glory.

2009, 2010 and 2011 saw particular success at the Monmouth show. With our shearling rams taking the breed championship in '09 and '10, while our ewe won in '11. 2010 and 2011 were very pleasing as we won classes with sheep from our new stock ram, Tardebigge Finbar.

Even better in 2011 our ewe went on to take the overall Longwool champion. Here she is:-

While not a show in the traditional sense Wonderwool Wales 2010 gave us the opportunity to show off our sheep and their wool. We combined forces with Sharon who is a product and marketing whizz. It was a very successful weekend, we sold 20 full fleeces but more importantly met a lot of really enthusiastic wool users.
